Century Plate Lithography Workshop at Center for Contemporary Printmaking

Century Plate lithography is a new, sustainable and environmentally friendly process using re-grainable Century Plates and biologically-based, biodegradable processing materials.  In this 3-day weekend workshop we will cover how to grain a plate, registration and paper preparation, how to use a variety of drawing materials, etching, processing, proofing, printing and how to re-grain your plate for a new image.

CCP is located in the historic stone carriage house of the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion in Norwalk, CT, which is accessible from NYC by Metro-North.

Century Plate Lithography Workshop at Brandeis

Corinne is currently teaching a Century Plate lithography workshop at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts as part of Professor Sonia Almeida's printmaking class.  Brandeis University is transforming their print studio to a green space with sustainable, non-toxic printmaking practices.  Sonia is a wonderful teacher and artist and her students are brilliant!  In Parts 1 & 2 we have covered graining the plate and plate preparation, drawing materials, talcing etching and processing.
