Ever wished you could preserve the vibrant colors and beautiful shapes of Vermont’s fall foliage?
In this fun and easy class, we will - by inking and printing fall leaves on polycarbonate printing plates and specialty printmaking paper. We will cover the basics of monotype printing (making unique prints), mixing ink, and printing on a press.
We will print with non-toxic, water-soluble inks. Printing plates and other tools will be available to borrow for the class period.
Classes are small, with lots of individual attention and are designed for all levels of ability.
What to Bring:
Fall leaves and/or other plants (ferns, flowers, etc.). Try to collect them before they are completely dry, if possible. Bring an apron, smock or worksheet to protect your clothing.
Participation Cost:
The class fee also includes the following materials: ink, newsprint and 6 sheets of specialty printmaking paper.
