Spring Classes & 1 Year Anniversary Event
We had a great Linocut 1 class on April 24th attended by two adventurous and very creative ski instructors.
Coming up:
Linocut 2 - Color Exploration: Sunday, May 10th
Learn simple and fun ways to add color to your linocut or woodblock prints, including blended rolls, monoprint and chine-collet techniques.
We will print with non-toxic, water-soluble inks. Linoleum cutters, brayers, pencils and other tools will be available to borrow for the class period.
Children are welcome with an accompanying adult - just be aware that the cutting tools are sharp!
Open Studio: Printmakers' Hangout & 1 Year Anniversary Celebration -
Come work in the printmaking media of your choice and celebrate Cherry Press Printmaking’s first year at ArtHouse in Wilmington!
First come, first served in terms of press access. Please bring your own materials and paper to print on. The fee is $35.
Feel free to just check out the space and chat with other printmakers and people curious about printmaking! If you are not planning to use the equipment, participation is free - please RSVP here.
